AdWords/Google Management Techniques

If you want to find success in PPC advertising, then you need to know the right AdWords/Google management techniques.  While it’s tempting to dive right in and get going, if you start using AdWords without knowing what you are doing, you will be throwing money away and not seeing any return for it.  Most people who are just starting out with AdWords/Google management don’t realize how fast you can run through your weekly, monthly, or even yearly budget if you don’t know what you’re doing.   If you want to get the most bang for your buck, make sure to follow these simple techniques.

Are you one of those guys that never reads the manual when you put something, be it a toy or a BBQ or a dresser?  Then this advice is especially for you.  The first, and possibly the most important AdWord/Google management technique that you can learn is to read the manual before you try to put the machine together (the machine, in this case, being your AdWords campaign.)  Google offers a vast amount of information about how AdWords works, and if you want to be successful, then you need to know the ins and outs before you start running your campaigns.

The second AdWords/Google management technique that I’m going to share with you is to run separate campaigns for all of your different products/services.  A lot of people, when they are starting out with AdWords, will try to put all of their different campaigns together in one big campaign.  Don’t do this.  In order to give each of your campaigns the attention that they deserve, you need to put them into separate campaigns.  That way, you can manage them better, pay more attention to which keywords are performing and which aren’t, and keep a better eye on your cost per clicks.

The third and last AdWords/Google management technique I’m going to share with you today is to keep your eye on your conversion rates.  It’s not just clicks that count.  You could have an ad that’s getting you great cost per clicks, but it’s not resulting in any sales for you on your site, which means it’s a waste of money.  But an ad with a lower click-through rate, that costs a littlem more, but that results in more sales once they reach your site, is much more valuable to you.
Remember to keep your goals in mind ?your ultimate goal is to get sales.

Your Definitive Guide to Adwords

Posted by jaunesk | Posted in Useful Info and Tips | Posted on 23-09-2009

You want a definitive guide to AdWords? There are plenty to be found on the internet, I’m sure, and each one will tell you that they’re better than the last. And while they all (or most of them, anyway) all provide useful information to get you started using AdWords, what exactly is the definitive guide to AdWords?

Well, that depends on what you need it for. Because the definitive guide to AdWords is going to look very different to someone who is just starting out with PPC advertising than for someone who is already adept at using AdWords and other PPC marketing vehicles, but wants to take it to the next level. So beware of anything that claims to be the definitive guide to AdWords for everyone.

The first place you should look for a definitive guide to AdWords is on their site itself, if you’re just starting out. They really do have a lot of information about how the program works, what it does, and how you should go about it. Of course, you can’t just stop there, but you do need to start there. You can’t possibly expect to be successful with AdWords unless you know exactly how it works.

Once you know how AdWords works, or you already knew, then you do need to find that definitive guide to AdWords. You need something that goes beyond telling you how AdWords works to telling you how you should be using AdWords in order to make you money. Again, depending on the size of your campaigns and your goals, you may need a different guide than the next AdWords user.

In fact, you might not need a guide at all. What if, instead of a definitive guide to AdWords, you had something more than just that. And before you ask how you can get more helpful than ‘definitive’ the answer is that it’s not a guide. Instead, what if you had the resources, support and tools you needed in order to both learn all you needed to about AdWords, and also about how to best use it to achieve your business goals, no matter what they were. Well, then that would be valuable indeed, and probably surpass any ‘guide’ you could buy in usefulness very quickly. An added benefit to finding that resource instead of a guide is that a resource that is used and supported by many will always have the most up-to-date information, while a guide, no matter how definitive it was when it was written, may quickly be out-of-date.

The Luxurious of Home Entertainment

When it comes to watching movies, there is always a battle between which is better, Home Theater or  Cinema. I used to prefer watching  movie in the cinema with all the fine audio and big screen visual effect that made me feel like I am part of the character in the movie. This experience changed when my wife and I decided to extend part of my car porch into a home theater room after seeing one of our friends build a movie room for his family and have the luxurious of enjoying fine visual and audio effect of a cinema with leaving their home.

After we completed the “TV Room” as my children named it, we started to learn the various equipment needed for a better home theater system and the different between a Hi-definition TV, LCD and Plasma TV; the DVD and audio equipment to the small gadget that enhance the audio and visual effect of the home theater system.

Our search pays off and our “TV Room” has became the most favorite spot in our house, with a wide screen High Definition LCD TV, DVD player that can play virtually any format of DVD and a audio system that can shatter the window glasses; what a marvelous experience so much so that we sometime just refused to sleep in our bedroom especially weekend just to enjoyed the luxurious only the finest cinema can provide.
